I'm kind of bummed out that Homefront (apparently) isn't living up to the potential I thought it had.  I thought the story sounded interesting, if nothing else.  Still waiting to see Alex's (or Jeff's?) review, but things don't sound great right now.

First, yeah, the fact that a man died is kind of awful.  Second, I've never laughed so hard while reading a thread in this forum.

The best part of this rating is maybe the giant  "parental guidance advised" notice.  12 year olds playing this with parents?

I remember reading the manual back in the day, and it talked about how he was Grunty's former mentor or something.  Then she took all of his mumbo tokens and placed a curse on him, which gave him the skull mask.  The curse wouldn't go away until she was defeated.  Obviously, that idea was sort of... retconned in future games.

Excellent.  I am curious about the 6 month thing as well.
