Just the greatest suprise I ever played. I loved the first two but with this game they just really nailed bringing the unique world of Panzer Dragoon to life. The characters were great, the plot actually surprising and with one of the best endings in gaming ever.

Greatest story told in a videogame to date. That alone makes it deserve a spot in the list. But the characters, choices with real consequences and just amazing set up overall makes this a must for any RPG fan. Actually for any gamer...

What's to say. Many would put this on #1. And it would be deserving, if not for the fact the other 2 just were more unique and refreshing in terms of story. Other than that though, nothing beats BG2 imho
