@skyline7284: omg the combat is God awful. And yes, the higher a dweller's stat that aligns with a room type, the more productive they are. They slow down production time I believe.
So I don't mind the slow progression, something I've seen people take issue with, but man does the combat suck. When my vault gets attacked I send a few of my better equipped dwellers to take care of the problem, but as soon as the enemy leaves the room I sent my dwellers to my guys just sit there. They don't seem to follow around the enemies so I keep dragging dwellers to the room that the attackers are currently in. I also have no idea what the enemies' health is at so I have no way of knowing what the hell is going on. This is one part of the game that I didn't see a tutorial for. Am I missing something? Or is the combat just dumb/frustrating/annoying as described above? I enjoy building up my vault, but getting attacked makes me want to close the app and not come back to it.
Now that I'm blessed to work at a videogame developer, I'm finally around people that have an Oculus. Tried it for my first time tonight and that shit is mind blowing. I now understand more than ever the selling power it would have by getting it into people's hands to try. I rarely, if ever, feel immersed in a videogame world (sadly), but using the Oculus changed that for me. So pumped for this.
OMG the UI is so frustrating (on console at least), especially when it comes to inventory management. It's to the point that I almost want to stop playing it. Ughhhhh.
Being an employee of The Hundreds, I always do a double take when I see twists on Giant Bomb's logo because it closely represents one of our brand images, Adam Bomb. The GBeast tee is rad!
Just took the time and watched the run. Gotta say, I don't really see the appeal or achievement of this sort of a speed run. Unless I'm mistaken, is he not just exploiting glitches? So it's not a matter of beating the game quickly, but rather it's about who can exploit the game's glitches the most quickly? This feels empty to me. It's cool that there are people out there who enjoy doing it, but it seems like a complete waste of life and time. Curious to hear the interview to broaden my thoughts if Patrick gets the chance.
