I was 16 when Ryan passed. A couple years later I discovered his REALEST SUMMER JAMS playlist. That playlist alone influenced me hugely. You can feel Ryan's positivity in that playlist. It's what got me interested in soul and hiphop instead. I think of him often, even today, and am so grateful for being able to experience who he was (even if it was from afar).
