The only games I instantly buy anymore are Dragon Age & XCom. That remains true - the game isn't perfect, but for $10 it's got me back in the XCom groove :)

I'd like it more if you only breached at the beginning of each "level" and if the abilities were a little stronger but had CD's.

I'm up for playing any part of the game, although I just finished the campaign so I'm mostly looking for some people to play the Horde mode with. Post your name here if you're down for it, or add me with my Epic Store name: Ethaniel_Rain

I have the "Executive" add-on/version of this game on Origin, which should give me the gold vision. I remember very much preferring it to the default, blue-blackish vision...but it isn't working or enabled and I don't see any way to make it so.

No Caption Provided

That seems to be all there is. No in-game option to turn it on, no other screen that I can find outside the game. It just shows I have it, but it doesn't actually work. Anyone remember how to enable it? I want that gold vision to play through the campaign, finally~

You did trick me and I did read it :)

As someone who really values story & fun/neat/unique levels, I've avoided both The Surge & Doom Eternal; I might try Surge sometime, eventually. DmC though...what a great game. With DmC, Enslaved & Hellblade, I'm always excited for whatever Ninja Theory is putting out.

Picked it up last week on sale, been searching all week for a public game and not a single one has been up. Of any kind. I've hosted some games - campaign, horde & weekly event types - and not a single person has joined. Weekend evening, Coronavirus shutdown, doesn't matter.

I've had enough fun with it solo that I don't regret buying it, and I imagine most people play these types of games with a set group of friends, but it's still been disappointing to not have any kind of group/online play AT ALL. Maybe when it's available on Steam there will be some people playing it, but until then...just a heads up, I guess.

Picked up Game Pass, being stuck at home with the virus stuff and all...Bleeding Edge has been a ton of fun (the first game to pull me away from Apex Legends since I started playing it, actually).

Gonna give State of Decay 2 & Gears 5 a try over the next couple of days. They look promising, especially for "free" :)

As I said above, I'm really having a lot of fun with this game. I don't like the lack of cosmetic items & unlocks...the skins are pretty lame, and the mods - while generally good/worthwhile - are slow to unlock and I've gotten ones I already have as my level up rewards :(

It seems like they don't have region-specific servers or something too, as I've experienced more laggy games with Bleeding Edge than any other game in recent memory. Aside from those two things, and maybe some balance tweaks that need to happen, I'm loving it.

I find Cass to be the most fun, she's my "main" :) Maev is a beast, she doesn't seem to have any weakness & has an answer for everything...she honestly probably needs nerfed. I'm blanking on the name, but I like the snake support guy too (although ZeroCool is the best healer by far). I dislike playing tanks, although Buttercup seems pretty powerful & fun.

Would like to add some GB people to play with; my name on XBOX is same as here (EthanielRain). I'm actually playing on PC but I assume it works the same regardless since it's cross-play all around.

Also, if you've played, what are your thoughts? I wasn't sure about it at first, but once I got used to it & found the characters I like, I'm loving it. Having an absolute blast...except when I get teammates that randomly run into 1vs4 fights and such (hence this thread)~

What is the refresh of your screen 60 Hz, 120 Hz, 144Hz?

Nearly, ANY mid-level 2019/20202 graphics card can do 1440p @ 60Hz, so even a RTX 1666 TI or older Radeon. The Radeon RX 5700 XT and RTX 2060 Super are fine for 1440p gaming option at 120Hz or many games at 144Hz. If you want high resolutions, high frame rate and a matching high monitor refresh rate; I think that gets into RTX 2070 territory and the very best RX 5700 XT cards.

Really what matters is what games you play, what monitor you have. Matching refreshes rate to close to you stitch of the monitor helps. Both FreeSync and G-Sync also start to suffer when the framerate isn’t constantly syncing within the monitor’s refresh range. Yes, the ADPATIVE hardware helps but everything is still based on what your computer can output to that screen. If you are shooting for 60 Hz there's no need to the very best video card. If you have a nice monitor that can do 144 Hz than having a rig that can output 1440p @ 150 fps means you no making the monitor adapt down as much. At least that is my understanding.

I am getting a new 144hz monitor with it; I went ahead and bumped it up to a 2070s just to make sure. Thx all
