  • Having not played many dual joystick shooters, I'm still quite fond of the genre and this is the one I enjoyed the most.

  • My mind was thoroughly blown playing this game. The story and atmosphere were amazing and the plasmid/gun gameplay was fantastic.

  • My personal favorite of the Final Fantasy series although there are quite a few good ones.

  • The series reached perfection here with animated cutscenes and level design and everything that came after was part of a downward spiral.

  • I'm a pretty big fan of EA's hockey franchise and while most people will say that NHL 94 was the best one that was ever released, I have to go with 95. It was the first game to have a season mode where you could check off which games you wanted to play as well as the first one to have stat tracking. I actually played every single game in a season (thats about 1200 games)

  • I'm a huge fan of the DMC series. The gameplay just seems to "click" with me and I love the over-the-top characters and story. Is 3 better than 4? Maybe.... but 1 is the still the king in my book.

  • What can I say, I loved me some Mechwarrior back in the day. This was the one where you could actually manage your own mercenary group which meant earning money to buy weapons as well as salvaging parts and sometimes whole mechs after your mission was complete. This is what put Mercenaries head and shoulders above the original Mechwarrior 2.

  • I have absolutely no love for the original but this one got it's hooks into me almost on a Diablo-like level. I still play through this thing from start to finish about once a year.

  • I can't even begin to imagine how many hours I've spent playing these games over the years.... and with Diablo 3 on it's way, I doubt I'm anywhere near finished....

  • Another game that I can't really imagine how many hours I've put into, most of which was multiplayer although I definitely enjoyed the story from Balance of Power. Both the original X-Wing and Tie Fighter were both awesome but this was somewhat of a culmination of the two for me.
