What could have been an incredibly deep game instead turns out to be only slightly more than a collection of shallow mini-games with customizable avatars.

By far not the worst item on this list (in fact I'd say it's a fairly good game), but still disappointingly oversimplified with repetitious gameplay and an underwhelming story that doesn't even begin to approach the quality of previous installments in the series.

This one I put off for a long time, and I'm not really sure why. I love the franchise and thoroughly enjoyed the previous game, Revelation, so it sounded like a no-brainer. Well, maybe my subconscious was picking up on things I wasn't because, after playing through the entire thing in less than 10 hours, I wish I'd never laid eyes on it.
