Similar to how games are handled on PC, at some point support for older hardware needs to be cut in order for advancements in software to be made. It's my personal belief that from now on, the release of every new hardware revision will drop support for two models back. So, when the next Scorpio and PS5 come out, the original Xbox One and PS4 will no longer see new titles come out on them. That'll give them a market life of about what we're used to anyway, but the difference from here on out is that any future console release should be backwards compatible with anything that came out in 2013 and onward.

I type more than I play PC games, so using anything other than an ergonomic keyboard for long periods would be joint suicide for me. The mouse was free, so can't complain. If I were to upgrade I'd get something with a trackball, or maybe a vertical mouse.

My only recommendation would be to look into adding support for the new Compact Overlay feature in the Windows 10 Creators Update. Basically it allows you to have an OS level picture in picture mode. This is how Beam works, for example. You can see the implementation I'm thinking of by using the Movies & TV app (it calls it mini-mode, I think).

Hi. Comic Vine is not going anywhere. Honestly, it's going to be a tad rough for a little while, as I'm mostly at GameSpot and have been for the past year, as you've probably noticed. I know a lot of people were put off by the merging of Comic Vine and "GameSpot Universe". I'd say try to not get too speculative as to why Tony left until he says something more.

*shrugs* I dunno. Last time I bought a bundle of boxes I got enough gold to buy what I wanted afterwards. I'd honestly be more likely to put more money into the game if I could just buy gold (or a new currency) to directly buy the stuff I wanted instead of blind boxes.

The RX 5xx series of GPUs will just be rebranded RX 4xx cards. Scorpio will need a Vega chip in order to run games at native 4K.

I have very high doubts on them using a Zen chip, but we'll see. (Ryzen is out of the question, TDP is too high.)
