God Hand: YES! It may not ever be the game that defines Clover's legacy, but I sure as hell had a great time playing through it when I got it at the beginning of this year. It was quirky and it was hard, but those were precisely the reasons why it was such a damn lovable game. Whether it was a remake or a new installment, if Capcom could do justice to it, I'd greatly buy it.
 
It's also nice to hear that I'm not the only one intrigued with Adachi's past. He only makes remotely significant allusions to it towards the end of the game, but I'd still really like to know his story. What exactly did he do to get transferred out to Inaba? Really, I'd even take that story in a medium outside of games; as an anime, it'd sure as hell be a better idea than the one for Persona 3.

FFVI makes me biased to all other games in the FF series, including the ones not created yet!  It's unfair, but I'll never have the same mentality I had when I played that game.  I'd love to see the cast in some polygonal glory, especially Kefka and those troopers with their bowl helmets!  It's a dream within a dream, but I'd be the first in line to pick it up if it came true.

how about the Oddworld games that started it all: Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus?  If they updated them with HD everything, I'd totally buy them again (twice!)

The Road Rash sequels were all terrible.  Remake the first with only the most minor changes.  There is a great example of a series that was so nicely balanced when it first came out, and then every sequel had to be "faster" and ended up just getting more sloppy, sort of like Halo:CE -> Halo 2.
