Final Fantasy 7 Remake is exactly what a remake should be. I'd love to see what some of my favorites from that era would look like if they were remade with this much dedication and love for the original work.
I played the hell out of Morrowind and I still have a copy of an old gamepro issue with a preview for Oblivion in my parents bathroom lol. Even now if I look at it I'm reminded of how excited I was for it.
I kinda feel like no game will ever quite capture that feeling again but who knows.
You're the Worst is really good but also heartbreaking at times. It veered into some tired cliches a few times but the times it subverted were just as plenty.
Now I've moved on to Better Call Saul. Bob Odenkirk is a really good actor, maybe even better than Bryan Cranston. I think his role requires him to play it a bit more comedically than Walter White's character but he does a good job at playing it straight when he needs to.
I'm not much into hyper-difficult action games but I'm willing to make an exception for From Software. I find that they have satisfying combat without requiring extremely precise timing and reflexes.
If these were the last two games I got to play in life I'd be happy. SMT has been my favorite series since I first played Persona 3, and Nocturne in particular has always stood out to me for its dark themes and eerie atmosphere.
I love Persona but the series lost a lot of its edge with 4 and 5, so I'm excited as hell for V.
