Everyone's gonna be all "hey, it's so great that canada won, right?" and I'd just have to avoid the issue or be awkward and talk about how I don't watch sports or something. "No. Face it head on. That game could have gone either way. I mean, shots were 36-39 for Canada, which is dead-even, and the USA had beat Canada earlier in the tournament. You should be proud of your hockey team, since it just as easily could have been the United States with the extra gold medal. 30 years ago, the best team USA could put together was a rag-tag team of college players to win the "miracle on ice". Now they've just entered into an era of evenly matched rivalry between Canada and the USA. Russia's irrelevant. USA is the team to beat.
