Brad choosing to do a story mission while he's supposing to speedrun the level surprised me quite a bit. I feel for him, he has too much anxiety about acting quickly and doesn't know the maps well yet it seems, you can definitely get away with a lot in hitman when you know how but you have to be willing to push against the limits of the systems to get there. I hope he'll get crazier in future videos!
@crippl3: I'm with you. Not saying people are wrong about it, but the opposites opinions that this map gathered surprised me. Playing the game and understanding its mechanic for the first time was a "best moment of the year" moment for me, and I loved all the experience I had in the map. Even after two replays it is still my favorite map of the game.
Man, at first I was pretty annoyed at Brad getting frustrated because he missed just one lizard, like he's right that it's a bad mechanic but it's not nearly as important as he makes it to be, considering I finished the game and killed way less of them than he already did.
But now, I'm all in. Kill those little fuckers.
Also it's fun getting on old video and seeing that people still comments sometimes!
Ouistiti is one of those small monkeys. If we'd say "fromage" we'd just look like idiots on photo (which is already the case pretty often I think). Ouistitis are very cute too.
Glad Abby is continuing, love those games and they make for a perfect second screen watch for me (and yes, even if she stays silent during the actual mini games).
Also my first experience with a Rhythm Fever was also hard as hell. It always sounds simpler than it actually is when you just listen to it.
I absolutely adore the writing in this game, it’s constantly funny and inventive, they also do a lot of clever mechanics gags and they use mario characters in horror tropes on many occasions which I’ve found incredibly funny.
The combat is a big bummer though... like having JRPGs combat with barely any progression just make it stale real quick. I’d rather they went with full on JRPG like Thousand year door or went action-platforming altogether, not this in-Between that’s not great at both. It’s a baffling choice to me because even on paper it doesn’t sound great either. I wonder the thought process behind it.
Still, I will get through it on power of the writing alone. It’s that good for me.
