Resident Evil 5 on launch day I think. Stayed up 2 days straight with a friend, beat the game twice and maxed out all the weapons after grinding. In hindsight, not worth it.
Didn't realize this was a thing until I tried to hop into the baseball playoff thread earlier. I'm bummed as hell to see it go if it doesn't come back under new ownership. I understand people, and rightfully so, had issues with some aspects of the way the sight was handled, but I spent most of my time in community and that felt like a good place with some good people in it. Not sure where to go for gaming forums now.
I ate a whole loaf of bread, talked about how squishy the carpet in my friend's house was, then locked myself in someone's bedroom and fell asleep. That's all I remember.
I think it'll end up being a classic, maybe not to everyone, but people will hold in that regard down the line I'm sure.
As for GOTY, I think it's the front runner right now, it's only real competition at this point would be Tomb Raider and I don't see that winning. Though Last of Us could be a huge surprise, Naughty Dog's A team is pretty great.
A little game called GTA V also coming out this year.
GOTY candidate for sure and to me and, even just finishing it an hour ago, a true classic. So well crafted.
I completely forgot about GTA V. I hope people enjoy that one too, I wish they'd show more of it.
