Yep, all of this. The tension was gone for me when I realised early on there'd be no other characters to interact with. The first day was great because there were hints of other characters, and I wish there was more of that. Would I come face to face with whoever was behind the fence? Would I find the Goodwins? The two missing girls? Would I ever even meet Delilah? Nah. Just more notes and audio logs.

Agreed. I visit GiantBomb for fun videos and Quick Looks of upcoming games. These serious gender and marketing issues would fit better on a personal blog rather than the site itself. Maybe I'm being ignorant, but I like visiting this site for entertaining games content and articles like the Eight Responses thing only serve to create controversy and division within the community. Lets keep it fun, lets keep it videogames, huh?

I found the statue gross, but not sexist. I'd find a cut-up male torso just as disgusting as a female one. When people are fixated with what the gender of a mutilated corpse is, I think their priorities are a little out of whack. Who would want any cut up body part on their mantelpiece? Seriously?

Best Downloadable Game could easily go to Mark of the Ninja, Spelunky, Fez, Journey and The Walking Dead. All are very refreshing in their own ways.

Hotline Miami and had great music (also downloadable)
