Finally Got Around To My Avatar...

I set up my Xbox 360 avatar. Here she is...

I didn't name her yet... any ideas?
I didn't name her yet... any ideas?

Now, before you ask, no, I'm not a chick. I just gravitate towards female avatars or game characters because I don't want a freaking sausage fest in my games all the time. Yes, I said sausage fest. And if you must ask, this is what I look like irl.

And yes, I tried Home, and I deleted it after a half-hour of fidgeting around. Penny Arcade is right again.

So, I have to ask the question: am I the only one here that gravitates towards avatars/game characters of the opposite gender? Is it creepy? Am I asking too many questions? Talk amongst yourselves...

Nah it isn't creepy to be pretend to be another gender (Well that came out wrong but you know what I mean) lots of people do that online. I just usually be a boy anyways so I don't even give it a second thought.

I actually think it is kinda weird, why would you want to use a female avatar? I use male characters because it helps the overall immersion & relevance of whatever I'm doing. I think it's weird to be a chick (sometimes) & I think it's awkward psychologically that you gravitate towards them more......

Like I said, I don't want all my games to be a sausage fest. Take Soulcalibur, for example. I always choose Seong Mi-na over Kilik, even though I know the two are mostly the same, for that reason. If I'm using a certain character in video games, I'd at least like some eye candy.

He's not pretending to be a girl, he created his avatar to be a unique character.

It has nothing to do with that. I make female characters at times, too. As for avatars, I want it to represent me, but in other games, I'd simply rather stare at a girl's backside then a guy's.
