The plot of the game is you are collecting badasses like treats at a candy store, and Bioware is trying to put a little variety here. In the first demo, they made special mention that the first badass you recruit (I can't remember his name) is not a psycho killer and actually blabs on about philosophy. I think it might be interesting that they throw this crazy chick into the mix.
@Jeust: I think you are confusing me for someone that cares. Good luck with the petition, though,I was only noticing something which any company thinks about when faced with a petition - this is nonbinding, obscure, irrelevant, and probably will not affect sales.
I am curious - how do petitions work? Since the people who care enough to sign an obscure internet petition also care too much to not to buy said game.
Politics has always been like this; Andrew Jacksons entire presidency was called into question becuase of the belief that he was a polygamist (due to a 'paperwork' error twenty years prior). If you want serious commentary on something you care about read the Economist, which does a good job of showing both sides. Regular news - Jon Stewart.
@oldschool: Both a democracy and a republic can exclude a minority, though I would argue that a multi-party system can allow minorities to team up for a larger causes (the coalition parties in Israel). That's not the point. Even in a democracy where everyone can vote certain groups can be repressed, like in Switzerland where women were not allowed to vote until 1971 (Yes, 1971). The degree to which a government is repressive has nothing to with whether that government is a democracy or a republic.
@EmceeOnslaught: I thought I was crazy for thinking that too! It just works so well and I didn't see it coming at all. PS Be careful what you guys say about any of your favorite endings, as this is spoiler country.
@MoeB: Alright, you got me and you got a valid point. Not to be rude but if you want people to hear your valid point you should try posting it on the other threads.
