I think there needs to be a better way to find and organize series that stretch across multiple shows. For instance, the Contradiction: Spot the Liar playthrough is 4 videos; the first 2 are Quick Looks, so they are in that show, and the last two are Playdates, so they are in that show. There doesn't appear to be a single place that lists all 4 videos.
That specific example isn't the best, since the Episode Notes for each video lists the other 4 videos, but that's not the most elegant solution and I think it wouldn't be feasible in other cases. For instance, what if Vinny and Dan did an episode of This is the Run during a longer playdate video? Is there a way for the video to be tagged as both a This is the Run show video and a Playdate show video?
I totally respect Alex's views, and happen to (almost) totally disagree with him. This is exactly what I always hoped out of an AC game, its not quite The Witcher 3 in Ancient Greece, but its pretty close (including the importance of ignoring the minor contracts and bounties side quests). I'm connecting to it a lot more than I did with Origins, which I bounced off of after 14 hours.
Yeah, I'm not too sure about the desk, very much an ESPN vibe to it. But I'll reserve judgment until they have a chance to decorate again and make the space feel "lived in."
For me I think its that a) Kassandra seems much more interesting than Bayek, b) The writing seems more self-aware and fun (I found Origins way too self-serious), and c) Classical Greece is just a more interesting setting than Roman conquest-era Egypt.
Plus, even if its not on par with Mass Effect 2 or The Witcher 3, I'm always excited for an AAA game that goes all-in on being an RPG (rather just having "RPG elements" like most).
