Everyone is subject to being disrespected and overlooked in life. I personally don't think it happens to women more than men, even in the games industry. There will always be cases , but is it really so bad that someone thought you were a receptionist or booth babe because you were a female? It's a genuine mistake stemming from the fact that almost all receptionists and booth babes are women, it doesn't have to be taken as insulting.

After watching the Quick Look of this I think I might really want a steering wheel. Got an ideal desk set-up where the steering wheel would be able to just snap right on in-front of the TV. The only thing is I'm not sure how often I would actually use it (I feel like the novelty would wear off eventually), so can anyone recommend a decent PC steering that's not too expensive? I'm not wanting a force feedback ultra realism thing, but just a competent wheel for using now and again.

tl;dr : cheap and good steering wheel for PC.

@McGhee: Just from looking at reviews on shopping sites basically, it seemed to be a recurring theme but nice to know it isn't the case.

Probably going to buy this laptop off amazon tonight.

I've been looking at laptops recently as mines is needing an upgrade and I came across the Asus N55SL. Looks like a really well spec'd laptop so I'm thinking I might go for it, although I've never owned an Asus.

Does anyone have any experience of using an Asus laptop ? Is the build quality as bad as I've heard?
