Discovery is my favourite by far. Such a fun record and one that I can still put on today and enjoy.
RAM is interesting in that it's a different direction for them, and it's clear they put a lot of thought into, but it's not really a record I see myself listening to much in the future. It's just not that enjoyable. I respect DP for making, but I'm pretty lukewarm on it.
I'd put Discovery far in the lead, then Homework, and then Human After All and RAM bring up the rear.
As for my favourite song on RAM, I'd say Give Life Back to Music. It's one of the few tracks on here that has replayability for me.
Cautiously optimistic about Last of Us and Watch_Dogs, but need to see more of both of these. Last of Us because I've never been a big fan of Naughty Dog's previous games, and Watch_Dogs because we still don't know much about it.
You're certainly not a douche bag, though I think there's enough time between now and GTA V to keep you from getting burnt out on open-world games.
That being said, you aren't really missing much. I thought Sleeping Dogs was mediocre (and hold both Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV in much higher regard) and I'll be shocked if GTA V isn't 10 times better.
@Lazyaza: I believe the majority of the teams at each R* studio are separate, but every R* game since GTA III has had pretty much the same core group of people at the helm (namely Leslie Benzies and the Houser brothers) and every game from them since Table Tennis has been on the RAGE engine using Euphoria physics. Traditionally you're spot on of course with all of the shuffling around and turnover in the industry, but there is an element of continuation when it comes to R* games I think because of the aforementioned elements.
This is sort of separate to what you're talking about, but Dan Houser's also said that they're bringing in some leads from the Midnight Club LA to help develop the driving system with them. Pretty neat I think, hopefully it turns out well.
