I couldn't get a copy at Best Buy in San Francisco yesterday, but I managed to get one at the same location today. I'm willing to blame incompetence on the part of the staff as opposed to lack of supply though.

You do realize that trailer was completely pre-rendered right?

If you just play the main missions, not doing any of the side quests, it's probably about 1/3 of the game. But if you do all the side quests then the stage battles start to take up much much less of the game. If you don't like RTS's then you just need to make sure you get all your solos then basically play it like dynasty warriors with your troops following you around.

@Raven_Sword:  When you first go into the Drowning Doom area you crossed a bridge, with a fork in the road, one leading southish the other northish. Follow the southern fork and stay on the paved broken highway. Take the highway all the way to the ocean where it ends. To the right of the road, you'll see a cemetery. The Bringing it Home solo is at the far side of the cemetery, you should be able to see it from the road.

Right now I'm crossing my fingers for a Riggnerok based DLC, but a full fledged sequel would be nice too.

Abandon the mission and go get your Solos.  Would you try playing Halo with only the pistol?

Basically you are denying yourself the tools you need to play the game and then complaining about how hard it is. Get the Face Melter and Bring it Home solos at least. These solos will help you turn the tide of battle when things hit the fan like they did in your description. Also, when fighting Drowning Doom  Light of Dawn is a a real life saver. Since so many of their units have passive debuffs throwing that out will make your units seem much more powerful.

If you just can't bring yourself to abandon the mission at the least make sure you have all your units upgraded as much as possible. Then you might have enough of an advantage in quality of units to be able to push through their forces to hit the stage.

Capture all the fans, Clear to the Bridge and plant your Rally flag in front of it. Use that as a funnel to keep the enemy at bay while you upgrade your stage and get the Rock Crusher. Once you are capped for units advance until the middlish of the bridge, you'll have to fight for it. Doubleteam with the Crusher to destroy the two lightning towers, from here you'll have to fight the tree thing and another swarm of baddies. If you have it cast Rock Block to stop reinforcements for a while. Take out the two fan fountains in front of the stage, I used the RC for one and sent my troops after the other. Once that is done use take out the stage.

Some more advice. If you haven't done it yet get Facemelter and Bring it Home before you start this battle. It helps clear out the enemy on the bridge where they get bottle necked together. Also when fighting Drowning Doom keep Light of Dawn up as much as possible since so many of their units have debuffs. Basically by this point you should have all your solos, if you don't go get them. They make a tough fight rather easy.
