@Nadril: Complexity does not have that much to do with if a game is casual or not, especially not if it is a multiplayer game. Look at Quake.
I think riot did the right choice to remove denying and gold loss on death, it promotes a much more intense experience as people are not as afraid to engage in battles. Which makes the game more adrenaline fueled, especially since the HP and MANA reg is so much greater and promotes skill/ability-use much more than dota does.
However, as for personal preference I currently am playing dota 2 because the artstyle and heroes/items are more diverse. I have played about 3k games of HoN, 3k games of LoL and 3k games of dota/dota 2 so I would consider myself somewhat of a veteran in all of those games.
Hands down, existenz. Love cronenberg but that shit was an epic turd.
That is funny, ExistenZ is my favourite movie of all time.
-"god.. THE MECHANIC" /gas, willem dafoe.
Killer performances by everyone involved and the wooden characters sometimes introduced are explained at the end of the movie when their performances are played down as mundane average joes :) Also really eerie atmosphere and the sounds are quite good (being a music producer I do pay a lot of attention to sounds in movies).
Worst movies i've seen are Waterworld and Battlefield Earth.
So far I have puked twice wile placing ME3. This game's camera is messing with me and it doesn't look any different than ME1 or ME2. Games normally don't get me motion sick, but this one is. I am going to try and finish it but I guess I will have to play in small burst or play with a bucket next to me. I have put to much time into the ME universe to not see it through to the end.
I take it you are playing on the PC if you are getting sick, that usually an indicator of a too narrow FOV in relation to the distance to your monitor.
I was worried about this, they use a narrow FoV on the PC so its pretty much made for playing on a TV in your couch, but then they remove the gamepad support so the ONLY way to play the game is infront of a tv with a wireless keyboard and mouse... which kinda sucks.
Hey, finally someone else who actually knows what problems low FOV can cause. Faith in humanity gain +5 As for the wireless keyboard and mouse thing, that's not needed. I play using my Logitech G19 and the MX518 mouse, all wired and I use the TV as my monitor. USB cables aren't that hard to extend and also hide under a carpet
Course you CAN play with a mouse and keyboard in your couch, but it is pretty cumbersome when you want to chill with your friends and just let the controller rotate.
What annoys me is that they did a half-assed try for a PC port, they should either have had proper FoV or Gamepad support :)
