@deathstriker: I think Peter is particularly fantastic, I just know how the list goes and I can see some of the stuff being sticklers for the "New"-ness of it, so I don't think he'll make the cut sadly. It's a bummer because he is such a standout.
@thursday1977: While I agree that the two of them together are really great, I think if they did make the list, they would be individual entries, mainly because for a good chunk of the game they aren't actually with one another. Unlike in years past with the case of the Lutece Twins. But appreciate the suggestion!

@dialthedude: I considered putting the trashopedia stuff in there initially but I held off, some of those entries really are incredible. I hope it either gets talked about there our in best story since they that's their closest writing category. Added to the list!

Oh yeah, and how they did that multiple times too. I can understand those grievances though, for me the Atreus arc had some really low moments which bothered me. But even still, for me personally that moment worked because of it's narrative justification and what mechanically happened. Since it didn't for you though (which is perfectly fine! don't wanna come of rude here), do you have any recommendations from anything else this year that really stood out?
@ralphmoustaccio: True, that's extremely valid, it's pretty much why I didn't put Monster Hunter: World in there. I mainly put it there because after the person suggested it, I couldn't remember which category it almost got put in last year, either Debut or Surprise if I recall. Wanted to give it some love though mainly, but maybe surprise would be a better fit for it then?
