Next time they make shirts at Whiskey Media they need to make Giant Bomb ones that says, "Pro Tip: Play Better" and "Shoot That Guy!". I can guaranty you those would sell like crazy.
Ah, man. You should of PMed me. I cold of made a picture for your spotlight. I got a graphic tablet and I'm dying to try it out as much as I can. I'm even writing this comment with said tablet. It has a function that converts My handwriting into typed text.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Dynamic Theme Now Available!!
The science of alchemy may be out of reach for most of us, but you can enjoy it on your Playstation 3(PS3) every time you press the power button. Now available on the North American PlayStation Store you can download a dynamic theme based on Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (FMA:Brotherhood), courtesy of FUNimation. It's not just still images, but semi-animated as it shows both Alphonse and Edward Elric as teens to their childhood versions when the image changes. The animation is mainly blinking of the eyes with their clothes and hair constantly flapping in the wind. The background also subtly changes from day to night. The icons that adorn thedifferent options on the PS3 are also replaced with new character icons from FMA:Brotherhood. They include Ed, Al, Roy Mustang, Maes Hughes, and Riza Hawkeye. The video preview FUNimation offers mentions that there are custom sounds you will hear as you browse the menu, but none are displayed in the video.
Finding the theme may be a bit tricky, but just do a search for "Fullmetal Alchemist" and it will pop right up. You can see an animated preview on the Playstation Store or you can see a larger HD version on FUNimation's youtube channel: HERE This dynamic theme is priced at $2.99(USD).
Along with a new dynamic theme, the Playstation Movie Store is also offering for download both FMA: Brotherood Season 1 (Ep. 1-26) & the full series of the original anime Fullmetal Alchemist. Each episode is priced for download at $1.99(USD) and only offers the English audio (no subtitled option shown).
That's pretty good to hear. I saw far too many of those while I was playing Black Ops on the PS3. One was straight up a Nazi flag. After I saw that. I left the lobby that person was playing on. I've seen another one that was the symbol of the KKK's flag.
I am always amazed by just how hateful some people can be online when they think they are anonymous. Listening to voice chat I would hear some of the most violent and racist things you can. It was a real turn off to online play.
" I'm actually really really glad. I dislike Anime Vice simply because it's so dead (and Anime fans tend to be-TEND to be- elitist). Seeing stuff pop up is awesome. "
I hear where you are coming from, but people on Giant Bomb can also tend to be just as elitist. I'm a Mod over on Anime Vice, and I often write guest articles for the news page. I wrote a blog entry on here to advertise the Anime Vice Halloween Marathon. One user here went on a rant about my posting and pretty much demanded my blog be completely removed from Giant Bomb, despite that I posted it in the Off Topic section for the forums. I will say, there were also users who defended my post.
I've been trying to help inject life over on Anime Vice by writing articles, news, and reviews. It's just it's up to staff if they will accept my news articles.
Halloween is today and in celebration. The Mods over at Anime Vice and myself have put together a special marathon list of some of our favorite monster themed animes for the viewing pleasure of the users. They even put it on the news page section for you to find.
Not only do we list the animes we like the most. In the article, we list where you can find these animes episodes to watch for free online form the official distributors. It's all on the up and up. It's a free list of monster and scary animes to give you the chills or make you laugh. Each episode has either Zombies, Witches, Ghosts, Hollows, or Vampires (non-sparkling variety only). We also have the latest trailer for the 4th in the series of the BLEACH movies. It's pretty cool stuff.
