I got to GB rather late, via recommendations by Total biscuit (their podcast had TB and inControl pass away, just brutal).

Highlights:

I still revisit the ME3 spoiler pod every year or so.

2015, I graduated but had a tough time finding jobs, the only time I had problem breathing, some sort of panic attack. Mario Parties really helped me through that, especially seeing MPP5 where Dan got his comeuppance.

2016, I finally land a job in Boston, right in time for PAX. Lined up 2 hours early, to get front enough seat that I can see myself in the video. And patted Austin on the shoulder. He was very nice!

2017, I was heartbroken from a relationship, and also pretty poor health while stuck in a basement room for an internship. Beast in the East was the highlight of my week.

2018, I moved to a new job, and got lucky to get in the Microsoft E3 show. Immediately watched the crew's talkover after I got out. I was one of the marks that got in before Jeff B!

2019, started playing e-drums and rockband, following Alex's lead.

2021, finished a job interview on Friday, and immediately rushed to watch the send off stream. Definitely cried. Good luck to Vinny, Alex, Brad. And good luck to next gen GB.

I played it on Game Pass (it just left though)

Overall I respect it a lot, but there were just enough problems for me to drop 1 star (on the GB rating scale).

I'm also interested in hearing if anyone re-played again after finishing. Because for all the potential of diverging dialogue, I didn't feel like the major points could actually change much.

I also got Yoku on my top 10...and that's it...which is ok!

I do have Yakuza Kiwami 2 on my list though. For people that got into the series from 0 (and not fathers...), I think Kiwami 2 would likely be received better than 6. More mature system, better villain and female lead, more callbacks to 0, and a short but kinda-worth-it Majima chapter.

I've been playing Smash single player mode. Some of the spirit fights are pretty cool. And RAYMAN IS IN IT!!!!!

First I read the book, then discovered that Anne Bancroft and Anthony Hopkins starred in the movie version (1987). It's weird and probably not for everyone, since all dialogue/voiceover is taken from correspondence letters between the two, a New York writer, and a London bookseller. But the story is still great, and acting/voice work really carries the emotions. Hopkins in this role may be the sexist man I've ever seen in movies.

As I desperately distract myself from the news my ex has started a new relationship:
