17123	New Game	Game	Although Seventh Seal is certainly a title that is rather obscure, there is actually some noteworthy history behind it. Seventh Seal followed in the footsteps of Soft-World International Corporations other games, having its plot be based around a preexisting property, but Seventh Seal stands out as not only is it quite large in scope compared to most of their previous games, but it was also one of the first, if not only, games which Soft-World attempted to publish outside of Taiwan. In 2002, Soft-World showed Seventh Seal at E3's Kentia Hall under a different title, "Seventh Seal: Lost Reminiscence", with hopes of catching the attention of a publisher who could help them afford to translate the game and bring it to the United States. They did not succeed in finding a publisher, but the idea to present the game at Kentia did help preserve some information about the game, thanks to coverage by journalists attending that year. Also of note is the game's soundtrack, which can be found rather easily as it was released separately a few months after the game as the album "Sailing to the World". This soundtrack is of note as it was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, the well-known composer behind such soundtracks as Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana. Although Seventh Seal is a rather obscure title, I feel as though these two factors make it noteworthy.
