At the UFC 112 pre-fight press conference, middleweight champ Anderson Silva expressed interest in cutting weight to fight welterweight champ Georges "Rush" St. Pierre. This comes weeks after GSP defeated Dan Hardy to defend his belt once again, after the fight Dana White said that he doesn't like the idea of GSP moving up in weight (GSP isn't exactly a big guy) so it seems this would be the only way we could see this great matchup.
Do you think Anderson could make the cut and be as effective? Would you be more excited to see GSP vs. Silva at 170 or at 185?
It would be better if GSP went up to 185, silva is just too big to realistically go to 170. But after his last fight, he's going to need to gain Dana's trust again to get that fight.
