You need to side-load the beta via the web. With your roku registered to their site, go to https://my.roku.com/add/HMQ2MJ and it will load the beta version to your roku.

I was too aggressive in getting the older videos to load. Just pushed an update to fix scanlon and boost the bitrate.

Updated the GB Roku Side Load Beta App. The logic to finagle a lower bitrate stream has been fixed so the Extra Life videos and some of the older videos like those in the TANG category should work now. Premium shows/videos will be shown regardless if you're premium again since the sudden disappearance of shows cause confusion when the app delinks. The much requested live streaming has been added, it will appear in the big slot and push the recent videos below (On app load).

Got the Roku Ultra in the office and made a fix for the crash issue. The build has been uploaded and can be installed via the same link (https://my.roku.com/account/add?channel=HMQ2MJ). The version listed should be Version 2.1 - Build 3. This issue seems to be happening only on the latest line of Roku products, so hopefully the fix works for the Express and Premiere as well.

@ryudo Traceroute sounds like the way to go. Set your DNS to the one your ISP provided and then:

For windows, open a cmd window and run: tracert giantbomb-pdl.akamaized.net

For mac, open a console window and run: traceroute giantbomb-pdl.akamaized.net

There may be a timeout somewhere between your location and the akamai edge servers which the ISP can fix.

I thought I could have y'all direct load a video using a curl command but it turns out that can't be done outside of dev. We'll put in an order for a Roku Ultra and run tests against it.

@stemage@brycewinters Can y'all confirm the build you're using is "Version 2.1 - Build 2" when highlighting the channel and hitting the * key. Also, do y'all have access to a mac or a windows with curl installed?
