I've been playing for almost 12 hours on a One X, am at around 50% completion, and the only bug I've seen is single hard crash. Is anyone at GB using an SSD to review games? I barely spent more than the price of a new game to get an external SSD, and have since had almost zero of the load-type issues the GB crew is constantly complaining about. I assume all the GB folks are running SSDs on their PCs for those games, so why not their game consoles?
Yeah, but the overwhelming majority of console owners are running stock hardware. You can't really compare that to PCs which have no baseline configuration and which are specifically intended to be customizable.
Honestly, I find all this excuse making and white knighting for EA/Respawn incredibly bizarre. Giant Bomb can only review the code put in front of them, and they should absolutely be doing it in a way that most closely replicates the average consumer experience. Whether the game might be patched or whether the game could be made to run better with aftermarket hardware are not relevant questions to an honest reviewer.
Abby seemed legitimately like she didn't want to be any part of this. Maybe she shouldn't have been?
She was having a bit of fun taking shots at an entertainment medium which is, let's face it, deeply silly at best. The wrestling fans on staff don't mind, so maybe you shouldn't either?
Yes Hogan said something racist but Abby saying, "he shouldn't be in these games anymore" is a other example of her immaturity and political condescension.
Is "political condescension" the new code for "how dare you point out that my beliefs might be really shitty".
