I currently have about 94 physical game copies so I would definitely say yes. I can't help from buying them!! I just use excuses  like I will play them after I beat the ones I am currently playing, the deal is too good not too let go or buying them saves me the hassle of buying them later :)

You should try :   Hyperdimensions neptunia, trinity universe, cross edge, resonance of fate, record of agarest war, magna carta 2, arc rise fantasia, sakura wars, lunar SSS, Ragnarok,  shin megami tensei games,  the other atelier games,  disgaea, the tales of games and the star ocean games. 
I'm currently in a similar phase too :)   Looking for games by NIS helps and you should also try out the yakuza games just for its japanese flavor.
