I'm here again.

I run Video Buddy on an iPad gen 2 which runs iOS 9, so it's a bit on the older side, but it's what I use to watch/listen to while I try to sleep. There is no other app I can use with my iPad that will download since it's such an old OS, so new apps don't really work and for some reason, GB's website won't work on any browser app for my iPad (another user experienced this as well in the main Bug Reporting thread).

For quite a while now, I've been unable to play videos completely in the app, with no timestamps even showing for the video to play much like @onlineatron. I have relinked my account to the app with no luck, turned the iPad on and off, and while others said they could find their app in App History if they deleted it, I'm afraid I can't seem to find it (I haven't deleted yet) to re-download it.

I really do enjoy this app, and would prefer it to having to scrounge up a new tablet. If you're out there, @soup_menu do you happen to know what the issue could be?

I might use my older phone to do so, but a cheapo tablet isn't a bad idea (though, I've considered a Surface after Drew said it was great for emulators a few years back).

I'm assuming since it's an older device and OS it's not a high priority if one at all for the engineers, which I get, but it is a bummer for us that keep our old devices. I hate upgrading devices if I don't need to, especially since I don't use my tablet much anymore other than for videos. I feel better I wasn't the only lost soul with this problem, puts me a little at ease, lol. If I find any fix I'll let you know!

Did you ever find an answer to this? I recently found that Video Buddy was no longer working on my iPad 2nd gen, and figured since it was an old app it just may be time to give it up for listening to while I try to sleep and went for the website.

I tried the website and had the same problem in Safari and Chrome where a tap on anything you put in your square appears to darken briefly as if tapping everything in that element, but there is nothing that happens. I hope this gets fixed if possible (I know it's an old device and OS).

I actually purchased 2 games before Black Friday on Amazon.

I'm pretty set on games right now and tried to avoid buying too much. I might snag something today but I am waiting for bigger discounts for some and trying to get through my back-catalogue.

(However, you can bet I will preorder P5R today like a fool. That's a problem for future me.)

@wolferey: This is how I've noticed the issue in Chrome as well. It's the two videos playing at once.

For me, I usually have to reload. Waiting doesn't help.

While watching the Deadly Premonition ER, I had been tagging Jeff, Vinny, Ryan, and Brad into their appropriate videos. Once I see one video has had the tags approved, I go check the others to see if I missed anything.

I noticed that for BR-11 https://www.giantbomb.com/shows/endurance-run-deadly-premonition-part-br-11/2970-15221/free-video that Brad's tag is there, but Ryan's isn't. When I click "Add Tags" his name is there (for what I assume is a pending tag at the moment) along with Brad and the game's tag in the Existing Tags. I'm assuming it's still pending, but all the tags regardless of being approved or not are there aside from the poster, of course. (I'm also wondering if this was an oversight in terms of approval or if there is some bug, but like I said I believe it's former).

That said, instead of having the tags the user(s) have submitted in the Add Tags pop up with the already approved tags (the Existing Tags), I think having something like

Pending Tags: [USER SUBMITTED TAG], [USER SUBMITTED TAG]

in a greyed out font or some stylistic way to tell it hasn't been approved yet in a line below it. I believe this would be helpful for those users that want to help in categorizing the content, which overall helps the site. It's not a major deal, but it'd be a nice UI thing.

I dig the hitman2 red/pink, but it is a little bright on the two monitors I've tried it on with Dark Mode (I can't seem to find Light Mode anymore and I don't know if it's still available). Looks better on my phone, so that could just be my screens/bad eyesight being the issue.

Chrome crash during podcast live, also had a few delayed video moments earlier on as well.

Yeah! Last night as I was trying to find things I did get some (I did Dracula for Dracula's Curse) and started putting stuff in lists. Metal Gear Scanlon is the tough one that I've not been able to find much of unless I go all the way back in the "Premium" List. I've only been able to get "Rising" for MG Rising. I'll try the 0 trick though. Agreed that Shows seem to be what breaks it.

I really hope it gets updated, I'm on an old iPad 2 for a tablet device so GBTV doesn't work since I can only get iOS 9 and below stuff :\ I really love the list feature. I'd also gladly donate because it's a great app!

Really love this app, but it seems the new API is hiding some items. Can't find Metal Gear Scanlon in search at all and just searching endurance run only gives one video. I hope we see an update soon!
