With the next gen coming soon, the industry feels ready to move on to the next big thing. Well...I don't.

See I'm a broke teenager who barely has enough money to buy cheap used games. I can't be bothered to save up for years in order to buy a Wii U or PS4, play it for a year, then hear announcements of the NEXT gen coming.

So for this next gen, I'll be skipping it. I'm simply gonna dig into my big ass backlog and tear through it. Instead of buying $60 games (or even $70, who knows), I'll pick up three games for $40. Stuff like that.

It's gonna be weird to be so far behind everyone else, but idgaf. There are plenty of games I've missed.

Better not disappear. I've got high hopes for this game ;_;

That was pretty spot on actually. When I had a FB I had a few friends from school who were big CoD players, and when they got girlfriends that were willing to play with them, they were all over the "my girlfriend's a gamer <3" thing too

Pretty much. While each gen will bring some technical improvements every time, it's really not enough to become groundbreaking imo.

But I'm skipping next gen anyway. Next gen is Backlog Gen ^_^

I have yet to play ME3, MW3, Skyrim, Skyward Sword, and Prototype 2 for starters

Kefka is one of the best villains I've ever encountered in a game

He's one of the reasons FFVI is the best FF
