Is there anyone who can speak to the long-term repetition of the gameplay? I personally don't mind a full game of fighting various Hugh Mans just as long it's kept challenging but it is a complaint that's given me pause. Just as long as there's enough interesting moments, enviornment, etc. scattered through.

Just heard about Alt+f1 going free this year, will be pleased to have an RSS to point my podcast app at. Presumably it'll be monetized the same way the Bombcast is?

@ravenx302: Long story short, the visual & narrative overlap between Division & 'Fighters is pretty hefty (snow, New York, common man hero, small band of fighters etc.) but it also shares a similar feel in movement, enemy type, fire arms & general bullet spongy-ness. Freedom Fighters also had a pretty MMO-ish structure in hindsight, having to revisit areas multiple times to progress in others & unlock weapons etc.

Is this the Freedom Fighters sequel everyone has I've secretly hoped for?

Still exactly my feelings since the open Beta. Very different games but both with a similar flow & energy on them. I would not be at all surprised if there were people who had worked on both. Still waiting for reviews but like Freedom Fighters this game looks like it could be worth more than the sum of it's parts to me.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed the beta, it's reminds me a lot of IOs criminally overlooked Freedom Fighters from back in the day. Way more interested now, seems like a solid MMO experience that doesn't demand too much time investment. Been looking for a decent loot game to get into.

Bad Company 3 and a monthly subscription option for premium content. Also, robots. Big ones.

I am OK with this. Sucks that the BBC is losing it but they've gotta use their funding for what's important and F1 just ain't that. Channel 4's been making inroads into sports and all told it's been solid.

Play Warframe instead, kids.

The Second Dream apparently is pretty great.

Played a good chunk a while back, I should go back.
