@dispossession If your problems with D2 PvP, this update won't fixed that I think. If it's not enough content, the next content drop for PvE should be better with this update.
My PvE 30 minutes quick impression, running around Mercury.(PS4) -All trash mobs can be one shotted with Better Devils -Snipers(Alone as a God) feels a lot better, but still can't compare to rockets against Yellow-Bar enemies and mobs -Warlock burst glide is damn fast. Died twice because I overshot my jump.
@hestilllives19:Anthem is going to be good but not great. Bioware loot system and shooting have never been great, they are just serviceable. I think they also gonna miss the first quarter of this year, and might be a summer release.
I think if Bungie manage to fix D2 before that game releases, we might end up with The Division situation all over again.
Was exotic drop ever a problem? I got every exotics pre-Curse bar one just by playing the game. I know there may be some players getting screwed by RNG, but that surely can be fixed by changing the drop chance for that specific player, instead of 3oC.
@zevvion: Oh, I know I'm not that good. But in D1 I can be aggressive and take out a guy or 2 before checking out. The skill floor needed to be good in an aggressive playstyle is raised in D2. I might be wrong about Halo (didn't play past 2), but grenades and melees are really potent if used, no?
@machofantastico: I don't think Bungie don't care too. It's just that they are set to let the sandbox be this way.
@dan_citi: Yeah, I fought a guy using that and got melted fast. We still roll over them cause we teamshot better. But, I've watched a few video of people using Lens, and think to myself "All the other guns should be "broken" like that".
@pyrodactyl: @hestilllives19: I think the problem is there is only one meta playstyle. Teamshot. Anything else will put you at a disadvantage against people that are similar or higher skill level than you.
