This blog is going to have a bit of everything in it, since its been a few days since my last real blog post. This isnt really important stuff, but this is more of a preview of stuff to come on my blog in the next few weeks. Sorry about the schitzofranicness (spelling?)

First up is a little input from me about Too Human, and more importantly Denis Dyack. So recently on the first bombcast of July if I remember correctly, was when Jeff and crew talked about Denis Dyack and his little NeoGaf incedent, and kinda pass it off as a huge mistake and stuff, but it turns out theres alot more to it than Denis just getting mad. So my psp broke a few months ago, and since then I haven't been listening to 1up Yours, the very good podcast run by the nice folks over at www.1up.com. Apperently Denis appeared on the July 3rd episode, and he brought some very intresting stuff to the table, i recomend you go listen to it (you can go over to 1up and listen to it without the need of mp3 player of itunes)

During my time without a gaming device besides a dinosuar of a PC and an original Xbox I've done alot of thinking about the current state of racing games, both arcade and sims, and the direction I would like to see them go and experiment in. I've been putting off writing this megablog for awhile, becuase I know it will probaly take me an hour or two hours to write up everything I want.

Also, someone with my exact name seems to be spending my money on dumb crap, and it seems like I've blown 100 bucks lately and I dont know what on, so thats not good :/

The current status of my 360 is that it has arrived in Mesquite, Texas and it currently out on the delivery truck waiting to be delivered to the microsoft repair center, and im hoping to have it back before the Mercs 2 release at the end of August.

Nails

So having just sent off my xbox to Microsoft for repair, i decided to hit up my local Gamestop for some original Xbox games. I really wanted to get Mercenaries, but they didnt have a copy, so i picked up Brothers in Arms Earned in Blood. I've played through the first two actual missions, and its alright. Since ive never touched a BiA game, i dont really know where this one falls in terms of storyline or actual release, but this game has some serious problems. The gameplay itslef is solid, but there is some serious audio lag between where you shoot your gun, and when you hear youre gun shooting. The gunfire itself looks rather dull and a bit blocky when your looking down your gun sights, i know that this is a original Xbox game, so i understand the not-so-spectacular gunfire effects, but i really cant think of something to justify the horrible audio lag. Other than that the game is pretty fun.

I've also been playing alot of a game called FreeCol, which can be downloaded here www.freecol.org. It is a very good fan-made remake of the original Colonization, which itself is a knockoff of Civilization. I recomend you try it out, and ill have a more detailed blog post on it later. I found a copy of KOTOR 2 sitting around, so i think i might check that out again.

I had school orientation today, so i got my schedule and locker. I'm in homeroom with just about all my freinds, and we have most of the same classes together, so thats pretty awesome. I have alot of new teachers, so that means alot of abuse and sleeping in those classes.  Sad thing though, my homeroom teacher is a frickin bearded lady. I also have P.E. 7th hour this year which is WAY better than 3rd hour last year. So even though im not really excited about going back on Monday, my schedule is pretty frickin awesome, but the teachers really aren't.

My dad used to work at UPS, and he said that a package could easily get from the Florida Panhandle to the Microsoft repair place in Texas in one or two days of good travel time, so hoepfully my 360 will be back before mercs 2 which im totally stoked for. I also have a new drink addiction, of Sonic's Strawberry Slushies, and i also love Sonic's kinda new Happy Hour from 2pm to 4pm, where all drinks are half price, and I totally forgot how frickin awesome sonic's tater-tots and cheeseburgers are, so i think i have a new favorite fast food place.

So its back to more Earned in Blood i guess, thanks for listening to my ramblings

Just got my little sister addicted to Geometry Wars 2, and now i have nothing to do while waiting on the bombcast. :(

Allright, so i finally got around to writing one of these Forza 2 spotlight things i was talking about so here it is.

So yesterday I was lucky enough to win a Turn 10 painted (the forza devs) Too Human themed car that features the signature of D. Dyack (spelling?), Im not really excited for Too Human at all, in fact I really hated the demo, but you have to admit this paintjob is sweet. Pics

I think there should be gamertags of course, a easy way to post links to articles you particularly like or spent alot of time writing so your friends can check them out without having to search through the database, a spot to put maybe 2 or 3 games that your currently playing. Not much, put i havent seen that stuff mentioned alot so theres what i would like done.

So today i decided to add a couple pictures to the drifting concept page from forza 2. I went out and spent about 2 million in forza money on 4 different drift cars, and then went to work snapping away. This reminded me of 1 thing, drifting is frickin hard in forza, and i just plain suck at it.

I just hit 1000 points a few minutes ago, thanks to a couple paragraphs I wrote for Dead Space and im very excited about that, but now its time to shoot for the 5000 mark. Most of my edits have been articles for racing games and such, like tracks and stuff, and those added up pretty quickly. But anyway, Im really looking foward to the bombcast tonight, alot more than normal, and i dont know why. Also tonight i plan to start a daily or semi-daily blog post highlighting a certain forza car for the day. Usually i will be buying these from the Tuning Marketplace over at the www.forzamotorsport.net forums, and so most of them will be from various tuning shops. Also im trying to narrow down my holiday games list. Heres what im looking at.

I can get probaly 6 of those, and Fallout 3 is definitly staying no matter what.
