It wasn't a Halo thing. I didn't notice it in Unfinished, but I'll go look at that again.
EDIT: I just watched some of the Unfinished and the first thing I thought was "shit fuck, he was right, the reticle is just below the halfway down the screen line."
It's definitely a Halo/Bungie thing - every Halo had the reticule below the centre of the screen.
If you want to get lean and ripped, you need to have a large caloric deficit, so any weight lifting you do will be purely for maintenance - you won't gain muscle.
@trafalgarlaw: It always makes me feel super agitated when I watch an accident video and I see someone attempt to get up and move right away after something really harsh or the crowd/friends do the "lets lift them up and swing them about by their arms and feet" thing. I get why they are doing it but I'm always yelling "Stay down! Just stay down!"
Exactly. Don't just yell though, just rush to the person and fend off the idiots. You're the one in the know. All those other people can take a hike, except for bystanders that saw the whole thing happen or actually know how to help. Oh, you're just talking about accident videos. =P
Also never pull a knife or a sharp object out of anyone. Sometimes, it's the only thing keeping it from spraying like a blood fountain, just put pressure with your hands around it.
Unless the object is in the chest and impeding compressions.
You'd rather pull it out and have a very bleedy dude, with also a lot of blood possibly leaking into the lungs? No compression is going to save your victim in that case. Compressions aren't magical life savers in general so you're better off not risking it.
You might be right though if there is a pool table embedded into the chest of said person.
Speaking as a firefighter/EMR, if someone is in cardiac arrest and needs CPR, it means they are already clinically dead. A hemothorax/pulmonary edema is the least of this person's problems.
