I admit I appear to have fell flat on my ass in that picture but it still looks cool right?

I'd say Turian but Asari seem to work with everyone. Femshep is an exception...if she had face tattoos like turians she'd be more awesome.

I wrote allot for the article for this game on Giantbomb but I don't know how much I've ruined it for myself. I hope the game will blow me away regardless (not actually in the literal sense in-game).

Either way, the story should be that good, but I will try and keep expectations low in order to increase release-day-hype.

@Karkarov: You mean he set us up? I never liked Kaiden anyway.

@Karkarov: Haha yeah, I loved it when he talked to Sovereign on Virmire. You could tell Sovereign was just so bored of talking to Shep.

@Karkarov:  Yeah I'm aware they'd have had to try hard to fail, some people honestly did come into the game and not know that you had to gain loyalty to have team mates survive heh but yeah Im also aware it shows Shepard alive, though it's using the Canon ending for the story. It could be that if Shepard died you get to play as him (though I think if he died you can't import anyway so I may as well edit the previous post actually) but yeah I've heard things from that he's a squad mate, that he's just some random soldier, that he's the new Shep or something. I'm sure though that Shepard won't be coming back even if he did die, the Illusive Man probably won't do it again and there'd be nothing left of Shep from the blast in the Collector base :P

Im actually starting to wonder whether he's of any significance at all to be honest, he COULD just be ANY random soldier wondering whether this is the end of Earth and we're all speculating.

The link at the bottom of the forum that so nicely caught my eye with a turian being shot in the image, made me click it and read the interview with the author of the comics.
The interview is between John Jackson Miller and he goes into detail about the Illusive Man a little, which would explain why Cerberus is around, not just the "Oh I have money and I hate aliens" there was more than that.

Information from it which will be explained further in the comics shows that the Illusive Man is almost equivalent to Saren in status, phsycology and economically. Both having been involved in the first contact war it would seem and the Illusive Man being with like-minded people in their believe that Humans should have rights above others.
Though John also goes into a small bit of detail on that maybe there are outside forces who wanted the first contact war to happen, or introduced the species of Human and Turian in such a way for reasons we wouldn't believe until now.

Otherwise it's an interesting read, and the comics will be great I think. I liked the Dark Horse ones for Mass Effect 2 but I understand some people found them mediochre and I agree in some ways. Maybe the art could have been better some say but yeah. This would explain allot in the coming comic about Cerberus and I assume, why many things are the way they are in Mass Effect now. The Illusive Man, according to John Miller, changed in more ways than we think when he set up Cerberus. I suspect reaper intervention myself.

I was talking with somebody about this for a while the other day.

He asked me a question since he'd just bought the Liara DLC and said to me "What will happen to players who bought the DLC and those who didn't? Will they have different scenes or talks with Liara in the third game?"

And I thought, interesting point, maybe if we do see Liara in ME3 she may tell you she went alone and took on the Shadow Broker or she just may not bring it up. Though for anyone who did play the second without the DLC it is evident that she did have intention to take him down and fit his body into a coffee cup.

As a result of the confusion I think either Liara will be a recon from a distance or basically in communication with you (possibly Hitman 2 style Agency story? You do a contract for us, we give you the info you need for your friend's kidnapping location?) or she won't even play that big a part like me and some people are suspecting. Either that or she'll just the shadow broker regardless and Bioware will say, well. Read our comics please. Which I know the incoming comics are about the Illusive Man but I think that there might be something in there to hint about Liara's new position. I don't know anymore *head explodes while trying to comprehend*

For some reason I just don't think allot of the smaller things will have physical effects, more a thing shown in the Mailbox like in the second game. I hope it's not that way though.

But as for the listed things go for me, Im gonna spoiler it all so...this is what I think will happen.

Not sure who he is myself but I believe he is the Shepard for when in your M.E 2 Ending has Shepard die. That's basically a couple rumours I've heard running around but I don't think it would be correct for anyone to say they can confirm unless Bioware state it themselves.
