Persona 5 is almost definitely coming to Switch, right? Hopefully we get P4 Golden and some form of P3 at some point, too.

Ah, okay. I did get that then. It really was a kind of underwhelming addition. At least I got that sweet suit.

And I guess that means I'll be doing a Lunatic run for my third playthrough. Or I could just start this one over... I'm only a few hours in. Ah, I don't know. I've been caught up in other games but I still want to keep playing TMS. I'll figure it out.

@westernwizard: I'm doing it on hard, though I may swap to lunatic, since you can change difficulties on the fly, depends on how bored I get.

Byt the way, I think I got the true ending, but I'm not positive? What is the difference between the true end and the normal end? (use spoiler text or PM me)

Just finished the game. Didn't squeeze as many hours out of it on my first pass as I could have, so jumping right into NG+. Also, I've been playing the game with my brother, so this is my chance to sort of play it and explore the game on my own time; looking forward to more of it.

@cannonballbam: It's permanent. Including luck. Meaning you can make "good" or better be your default luck, without any boosts from soda. Luck Incense is rare, though, so use wisely. But yes. It is permanent.

@westernwizard: I do think having Yashiro there to counter will have a similar effect to the attack mirrors, though with it being unreliable with it's aggro-drawing, Attack Mirrors might be a better choice; you're probably right there.

You just hit that point in the fight where he resurrects the adds the second they're destroyed, and the adds self-destruct if you leave them be for too long... It's rough. Attack Mirrors would do the trick for the self-destructing though, you're right.

We were doing so well, then realized we were wasting all our turns on the adds when he was just resummoning them anyway; we had been consistently killing them before they could blow up prior to that, so we had no idea they did that until we decided to focus-fire on the boss. Then they blew up, boss used an all attack, triggered everyones "may survive a lethal blow" thing, then he attacks again, using an all attack, and Boom. Game over.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to grind too much, but he seems to be kind of a DPS wall; if you can't kill his adds quick enough to stop them from blowing up and also get some hits in on the spoilery boss guy, then you'll eventually run out of EP and die. I'm not a huge fan of that kind of boss. He's honestly the first one I've been kind of bummed out by, from a design perspective. None of the other bosses did the whole, "this fight gets way way harder 2/3 of the way in, so you'll have wasted a half hour at least before realizing it's hopeless" thing. At least not in my experience. They typically either shut you down immediately or stay consistently doable the whole fight.

Ah, well. I've still got some side stories to finish up, so I'll get those done while I grind away.

(Using "we" instead of "I" because I've been playing it with my brother, Endurance Run style.)

Scratch that, the Gharnef fight is a nightmare. It's one of those fights where the difficulty ramps up about 2/3 of the way through it, which is a bummer. We were totally on a role and then went from the full party having full health to the full party having zero health, and that's with them all having the radiant skills that allow them to survive a single fatal blow.

However, Yashiro's strength became pretty apparent during that fight (did in fact sub Mamori out for him, she was weak to... everything.) Gonna level him some more. Do his side missions. Get some ad-lib skills. If he had been doing those occasionally, that might have been enough to push that fight over the edge and allow us to win.

At the moment, I find that I'm using Tsubasa and Mamori. Classic DPS, Healer, Tank setup. It's generally pretty effective, but they've also outlevelled everyone else by a not-insignificant margin at this point, so the idea of testing out other combinations is kinda eh right now.

The fact that I don't have as much flexibility as I would if I were to try to level them all evenly hasn't really caught up to me yet; I do literally every single side mission the moment it becomes available. So far this has kept me enough ahead of the curve level-wise that even in a boss fight where one of the three is weak to an attack, keeping an SP available for Debut Smile and occasional use of Mamori's "block one physical attack for the whole party" move will get me through it, most of the time. And in times of desperation, I have Attack and Magic Mirrors, which get to be pretty trivial, cost-wise, fairly early on after unlocking the ability to buy them. The amount of yen TMS piles on you as you progress through the story is pretty crazy. Maybe it's factoring in the fact that members of your team are getting more famous, and therefore the team would generally have a lot of money to throw around? I don't know. But either way it feels good to see how much money a single side quest or boss fight will earn you sometimes.

Here's a thing! If an enemy is confused and they attempt to use an attack on themselves or another enemy, Mamori's "hey, I'll take that attack for you" thing can totally trigger. I lucked out the one time it happened to me, as the enemy was using ice and she was draining it at that time and got fully healed. But it could've gone badly, and if confusion is a thing you use frequently, I'd recommend not having her out.

I don't have anything actually interesting to say, but I went into seeing this trailer for the first time with a "it's probably fine" attitude and I think the trailer is pretty bad. I don't have any idea how the movie is going to turn out, but just... I mean, I don't know the medium very well, so I can't articulate it very well, but something about the way this trailer is put together rubbed me the wrong way. And, as stated previously by apparently everyone, I don't like the pairing of that song with those visuals. It's really a matter of whether or not I'm intp the song; I just don't think it really fits very well, especially with all the "this is an action movie so we're going to make this generic loud crashing sound at every cut" noises going on. It all just looks and sounds very messy.

All that said, I want an AC movie to be good. I just don't think that was a particularly good trailer.
