Might be a little late, but buyer beware: Arkham City's DX11 is broken, results in stuttering and choppiness. They said it would be patched but apparently it was never fixed.

Not really a screenshot, but this is a cool video showing off the dynamic clouds they just added to PCARS:

@Geno: I think it will effect both i don't see how pc will not be changed by it. Most people don't care about hardware so instead of buying a new pc or upgrades they can just game on the clould and not worry about it. Yes you do need hardware to run cloud games but as long as it can handel a video steam thats all you need. Very weak and cheap hardware would work just fine. Some tvs have apps where you dont need any extra hardware to use onlive.

It would affect it, but not "kill" it as much as it would consoles.

I am actually considering Age of Empires III. Just because of how much I liked playing Age of Kings (and later, though not a direct sequel, Age of Mythologies). Has anyone played it? Is it any good?

Age of Empires II is still the crown jewel of the Age series. AoE III tried to go too fancy and paid the price. Not outright bad, but a faulty attempt to fix what wasn't broken.

Consoles maybe, but not PC gaming. Local bandwidth will always exceed network bandwidth so games will always look better on any moderately powerful machine than on the cloud. Not to mention modding is basically impossible on a cloud service unless they intend to give every buyer a unique copy of the game with dedicated hard drive space.

@Geno: Would you recommend it?

I'm not a big fan of 4X games so I'm probably not the right person to ask.

@Geno: It's 6.50 at the minute so its pretty cheap just wanting to know what its like, doesn't look like a regular strategy game.

It's a 4X game, basically you capture planets/points to build more units to capture more planets/points. Most strategy games involve conquering land but this focuses specifically on that aspect rather than battles and diplomacy for instance.

Dat Lilly of the Valley.

I still find that part of the story unsatisfactory. How did the kid ever ingest it? Some strange man comes over to tell him to eat something and neither his teachers or parent does anything about it?
Well yes, parents are always telling kids not to talk to strangers. A man offering free candy is enticing to a little kid. Also he is not going to tell his mom for fear of getting in trouble
Brock seemed somewhat wary throughout Season 4 though. He didn't even talk to Jesse until several hours of interaction later, why would he just eat something that a random stranger handed to him? And his mother seems very protective of him as well, when would he ever be out of her sight for this to happen?

GTS 450 would not be sufficient to max this with a consistent 60fps, the performance you're getting is normal. The good news is the plains leading towards the tree temple is probably the most demanding part of the game, your performance should be fine in most of the other areas.

@TheLark: AFAIK Rebellion games have never been on sale on Steam, so that seems unlikely as well.
