So Best Buy has a sponsored quest right now, it's a real easy one so it can be completed really quickly but that's not what important. What's important is that Giant Bomb teamed up with Best buy in a way to promote the Best Buy brand that doesn't seem intrusive at least to me, quest just like achievements don't mean anything at all but people still try to complete more of them so it makes sense to serve advertisements on something that people can choose to ignore, no one is making you click the Best Buy link in order to get a quest completed. Hopefully Giant Bomb got a significant amount of money with this sponsored quest deal because you know you gotta get money out of somewhere.

I was bored recently so i started a new game of Jagged Alliance 2 with the 1.13 patch, the 1.13 patch is fan made and adds a ridicously amount of new features that include but are not limited to: New weather effects, massive amounts of shiny new guns, the ability to call reinforcements from other sectors, Etc. Also the game is much much harder, i managed to capture all of drassen but right after thata force of 60 enemy soldiers came crashing down killing all the militia i had worked so hard to train, with that they took control of the mine. I had to resort to guerrila tactics to reduce their numbers, i would enter the sector and quickly kill an enemy soldier, inmediately i would retreat and start the process all over again, i have killed 15 enemies that way which takes along ass time but i don,'t have a choice because if i fight head on i will get destroyed. Damn this game is hard :(

Sanctuary-17 is a free flash game that has pixelated graphics and a lot of tension, you are one of the last remaining survivors after robots went insane and destroyed humanity or something like that. At it's core Sanctuary-17 is a simple top down shooter, you can move, shoot and use a shield for protection which you should really use because this a one hit kill type of game, that's where the tension comes from. The combination of limited vision because of the darkness, the sound and the knowledge of robots lurking around make for a surprisingly unnerving experience of course this can also make the game frustating when you get killed which trust me, it will happen.

So i finished Space Rangers 2: Reboot this week, it was quite a ride but i'm not sure i liked the end game too much. You see there's 3 boses that you have to defeat, 2 of these are sort of easy once the science stations finally research the device needed to talk to the bosses Blazer and Terron, after that you can go up to them and sort of choose a dialog option that will make them destroy themselves, i thought this was too easy but whatever fine. The problem is the other boss called Keller, Keller won't talk to you in hyperspace for some reason so the trick is to lower his hit points by half so that he will run into a wormhole, if you follow Keller into the wormhole an arcade battle will take place that will give you the chance to finish him off, if you manage to do that Keller will automatically talk to you giving you several choices in how to dispose of him.
Now the problem with that method is that is too damn hard, if you battle Keller in hyperspace he will destroy you even if you have all of the best equipment found in the later parts of the game, of course you could hire some backup but they have a serious fear death and will run away the the first chance also most of the guys that you can hire won't last long against keller anyway. The only solution i could find was to wait until Keller jumped into a system and see if the planets send their battleship into a fight with Keller, if they did i would join them and hammer Keller with all i got, this worked most of the time if there was enough Battleships because they too don't last long against Keller, the following arcade battle was no picnic either so that sucked even more. 
In conclusion i didn't enjoy the method you have to use to defeat Keller because it relies on luck, at least that's what it seemed to me. Oh and if you didn't get anything of what i wrote earlier maybe you should give Space Rangers 2: Reboot on a chance, is available on Steam and other DD stores.
 

So i managed to get to the last story mission in GTA 3 but i can't pass it, all the guides i have read have recommended me going for the hidden packages that will give me the weapons i need to kill Catalina. I think i need like 80 to get the sniper rifle which is just ugh...Still i admit it's been kinda fun searching the whole city for the packages. Maybe i'll get them all....

If you hadn't heard Steam got a makeover today, everything looks so pretty now. My only complain is that i can see steam news at a glance, i have to switch to another tav which is kinda of annoying.  Also the performance is quite good, when i tried the beta everything felt sluggish which is not the case anymore. In conclusion i am rather liking this change, i will have to like it because there's no going back to the old client.

Man i really need to find a game where i can get an S-rank, only steam games may apply. Umm maybe Zombie driver but oh wait it's just got updated with even more achievements bummer :(

So i bought sniper Elite like for 2 dollars awhile ago and decided to play it, the game is cool but it's rough on the edges. You play as a Sniper in world war 2, the game is a mix between a shooter and a stealth game with fully modelated bullet physics, you must take into account gravity, wind, Etc when shooting which not so bad as it seems. Anyway the game has been good so far but i enjoy the stealth and sniping sections more than the levels that turn it straight into a shooter, i'll write more about it when i play some more.
