People are already aware of this annual brand, as others mentioned with Call of Duty, so they don't really have to hype it that much. In addition, Black Flag wasn't really hyped either - people got burned by III. Unity had a lot of noise around it and it turned out to be a mess, so I can imagine that people are again wary of trusting Ubisoft.

Either Big Boss building Outer Heaven or Snake and Otacon in the early days of Philanthropy. Although at this point I don't want another MGS if it's not done by Kojima, or at least if he doesn't give a potential sequel is glowing, explicit recommendation.

@bribo: I liked it. The focus is on its grain effect anyway in this particular case.

You've made a mistake in Robin Atkin Downes' name. But glorious anywhoo, dude.

You wanna know the sad thing? It's rumored that TPP was actually meant to have a shitty 80s film grain filter, but was shelved for whatever reason. The cigarette burn "damage" effect is the leftover of it.

Kojima said it was too taxing on the hardware and that he came up with the idea when he watched Ron Howard's Rush. Here's a link with his tweets!

I'd be game for more, I even checked for any DLC when I finished it a few days ago

Some DLC would be excellent. Heavy Rain put out scenarios that never made it in their full game. If the developer has some rooms like that, with non-canonical events, I'd love to play or see those.

"Scenario", only The Taxidermist came out. More were planned, but they shifted gears to work on the, wait for it, Move Edition.

Considering how gross the writing in Twilight is - and I'm not just talking about the fact that it's a stylistically poor, shoddily disguised self-insert - I just cannot wait to see how the borderline rapey, emotionally abusive shit ol' Eddie pulls on Bella reads like when it's female-on-male. Also, I wish she did it for all the books, because I wanna know what she would do with the birth scene in the last one. Last time I've read it, it sounded like it was written as if it was supposed to discourage women from ever getting pregnant, but not really in a social commentary, deconstructive kinda way.

But on the whole - this is fucking hilarious. Now we need E.L. James to write a gender-bent version of 50 Shades of Grey, just so we have a fan fiction remix of a book that is already a remixed version of a Twilight fan fiction and oh my God I've gone cross-eyed and the world is eating itself why stop

hey man if the teens like it all the power to them, I know I had a hard time finding relatable books at a young age.

I saw most of the Twilight films in cinema (bad dates + an academic interest in shit film and TV). The vast majority of the audience were 40-50 year old women, so I'm not so sure about this being for the tween demographic, especially since Bella's descriptions in the book make her look like Stephanie Meyer herself.

What? Raikov was Volgan's gay lover, they infer that several times throughout the game and Volgin practically say it later on near the end of MGS 3 when he fights Big Boss. The whole concept of Raikov to begin with was a riff on Raiden being effeminate and of questionable sexualty in MGS2.

Pretty much, in addition to placating the fans who hated Raiden in MGS2. His middle name, Raidenovitch, is even a pun - while it's a patronymic meaning "Son of Raiden", it was also supposed to mean "Thunderbolt's Bitch", since he was Volgin's lover. And if anything, Ivan is basically the Russian version of John/Jack, which is another joke regarding him being an expy of Raiden.

He's a joke character. You're reading way, way too much into it.

I don't think it works on guards who are already sleeping (because they are resting between shifts) or a guard that you have held up and told to lay on the ground.

Nope, absolutely works. They even scream for help if you forget to knock 'em out before fultoning them out.

V remains one of the most boringly competent games I've ever played and I thought VI was pretty good after a while and a couple of patches. Both don't got shit on III, though. Is this made by someone else again?
