They've already said that no story content is planned. Which is a damn shame, because I would really love to see more of Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno and Steve Ogg, especially since there's stuff like the prison or the aforementioned horse track that the game does nothing with.

And of course we'll get GTA 6. It's just going to take a couple years - Rockstar likes to take their sweet-ass time. Remember that they had plenty of projects coming (well, plenty for them) in the interrim between 4 and V, with Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3, which is probably the reason why they doubled down on Online, as it makes for a great financial filler.

@fredchuckdave: My big issue with DD is that unlike other buddies, he loses a lot of use when shit hits the fan, and this is the first MGS where I truly enjoy myself whenever that happens - he can't really handle enemies once you're discovered, since they are able to anticipate his attacks. And as mentioned by @efesell, once you get a suppressor, Quiet can easily go full offensive, since they don't really have a chance of finding her anymore; it happened to me once when she was laying covering fire at night and they fired a flare on her position, but I was flanking them anyway.

Don't get me wrong, DD is great and his autotag is insane, but I'd say he's balanced out well enough by his uselessness in a fight. He definitely makes a great come back around mission 25/the quarantine plot, though, since he fixes the issue of your Intel being total garbage for the time being in a more effective way than Quiet can, since she can only scan outposts and some things can elude her if she's not actively following you.

Had no issues with that mission. I just grabbed Huey, ran between the legs of that fucking thing, put him down on a grassy hill, called in chopper after it calmed down and then tried to navigate between the scout drones, done on my first try. It was fantastic.

@fredchuckdave: Quiet is absolutely OP once you max out Wicked Butterfly for her. She can clear out outposts by herself without prompt if you leave her in covering fire mode, in addition to tagging fools when told to scout an outpost.

BTW, there's something incredibly awesome and heartwarming when she keeps her laser sight in front of you whenever you walk into a new area.

@damodar: Yes.

The prologue is at its shakiest, but it makes narrative sense for that, and I'm pretty sure it's also there to obfuscate some stuff.

It's fantastic. I barely touched the mission stuff, I just hung around in free roam for like 5 hours. Amazing game, it's what I've been waiting for throghout all this time.

@ikilledthedj: Apparently, it works just as well as Ground Zeroes did. The settings need to be slightly lower due to the bigger open world from what I see on GeForce Experience, but it's pretty much a solid port. The only REAL issue is that there are issues with SSE4 in older CPUs, but there's a fix coming in about 5 hours.

Overall: good. Launch wasn't the smoothest thing due to the aforementioned issues with Phenom/Athlon etc. processors, but solid altogether.

Fucking A. Another PC version with launch issues. It's getting ridiculous.

@beefygrandmole: Weird, I got the game like three days ago and that option was there.

I don't care too much about importing MB staff (except Kojima, I need that beautiful bastard), but I'm very curious to see how Camp Omega ties back in to everything.

There's been a cool and weird semi-popular theory floating around that that weird static-y tape you get during the Intel acquisition mission (you know, the one that's 5 seconds long and is labelled "DO NOT PLAY IN MUSIC PLAYER") is of actual significance, with some saying that it's not a tape meant for a music player, but rather a tape meant for an MSX, which Huey just happens to be sitting in front of during the MB gameplay demo.

Doubtful, but I wouldn't put it past Kojima.

Apparently, the tape is a spectrogram and it shows a picture of a cage, but that was fished out way before TPP.
