@brad What is the exact IOException message she's getting?

There should be a log-file in %APPDATA%\.minecraft\logs\, and it could potentially have more details right below the "IOException[...]" line.

IOExceptions in this context can be pretty much anything that relate to the network connection. From timeouts, connection resets, packet loss, etc.

@jeff if you want to circumvent all that manual installation hassle for Forge, I'd recommend using the modpacks found in the Twitch App, or alternatively the Technic Launcher. (Both use Forge, but they automate the install)

I am waiting patiently for Dead Cells to be finally "out" out.

@mousepounder: I believe it gives you the option when you first start it up to play completely offline, but you'll lose out on the online-features for that profile permanently.

So what is the caching time on the RSS feed?

I can see episode 33 on this page, but it is not contained in the RSS feed yet, which is why my Podcast client doesn't see this episode yet. (And yes, I actually checked the RSS XML manually for episode 33).

Does the developer have to please the outside viewer or the backers though? As a backer of that game, I regularly get E-Mails that outline their development progress in almost excruciating detail.

@beforet: I remember him saying that he actually watched the other endings on YouTube. Or am I misremembering that?
