I've never been proud of cheating in games, but there have been times where my skills alone were never enough. Whether it was a cheat device, like Game Genie, or cheat codes built into the game, i found myself unable get through certain games without them.

Used the Game Genie's infinite lives code to get through the NES version.
I sucked at this one as a kid. Game Genie held my pathetic hand through this game.
Used the Game Genie to warp to the final boss. Even with the infinite lives code, i still couldn't get past the Turbo Tunnel.
This was VERY hard. I think i used Game Genie's invincibility code, but i can't remember.

Great game, but i was often overwhelmed by the sheer number of enemies, and you can't avoid everything they throw at you.

Like Serious Sam, i had a hard time evading attacks, so i used the god mode cheat.

I remember renting the SNES version and getting pretty far on my own, but it got tough towards the end, so i had to get the Game Genie again.
Had to use Game Genie to warp to the final level, since i couldn't figure out how to get there. You're supposed to do something with the reset button at the end of Mojo's level. How was i supposed to figure that out on my own?
Used the god mode and level select cheats to finish this.
Used the god mode cheat on the Playstation version of Doom.
Got to the final boss without cheating, but he was too much, so i used the god mode cheat. So close, yet so far.
I don't think it's possible to get through this without cheating. Its topdown perspective didn't work.

Played this as part of Mega Man Zero Collection. Finished it using "Easy Scenario", which made it so easy, it was practically cheating.
