I have a 30gb zune, I've had it since launch and I love it. So when I tried to turn it on yesterday morning and it froze, it was pretty frustrating. Even more frustrating when I started getting calls from friends who had the same problem. Then even more frustrating, but eventually amusing when I saw the THOUSANDS of forum post all within the same hour or two on the zune forums about it happening to every zune owner around the world.
It's fixed now, by they way. It just had something to do with the internal clock and it being leap year, and the earth's electro-magnetic field or something like that.
Also, I think your waiting for December, 2012 Jeff.
"somehow i never managed to finish it, tried it 3 times and everytime near the end i lack the interest to finish it "
I would highly suggest you finish this game. I remember the first time I finished it when I was younger, that ending made a major impression on me, it was surreal. It may not hold up to today's standards in terms of story endings but still, I remember being so bummed that the game ended at all, I just wanted it to keep going. We've been waiting WAY too long for mother 3, I just hope the translation will be done soon. I sill have the original cartridge and manual for this game and play it through every year or 2, I just can't get enough of it. I too, had it on my PSP emulator. That game taunts me.
Super Mario World Final Fantasy VII Halo: Combat Evolved The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past / Ocarina of Time Metal Gear Solid Soul Calibur Resident Evil 2 GoldenEye Chrono Trigger Street Fighter II
Haha, I can't believe that's been there a whole day and no one has tried to slay your very being with hurtful words and acronyms. Very good, my friend, very good...
One or two experiences of screaming prepubescent kids on XBL was enough to scar me and turn off voices for a LONG time. Granted, this was back in Halo 2 days, so it may be a little better now with games like COD 4 and Gears. In fact, I never ran into one on Gears. But it's not always little kids, as has been stated, a lot of people juts like to be dicks.
Point being: amount of occurrence? Over exaggerated Level of impact? Probably true to response.
On paper, I think they are kind of dumb. But as a completionist, they drive me to play the game more thoroughly, even to the point of frustration ( the "saint" achievement on "Dead Rising"). But all in all, I think they were a well thought out concept. They still get people to at least rent and sometimes buy games that they would never play normally, but do so just for the achievement points (JEFF GERSTMANN).
