Well looks like I'll be able to run it at least on medium but its definitely time for an upgrade since I'm assuming the specs are only going to get more demanding.

Don't like the idea of google controlling everything. And since they haven't fixed anything with youtube in regards to improving the quality of the videos, I highly doubt this will improve the quality for twitch. Its a great move for twitch, but I don't see how anyone who actually uses twitch benefits.

@tennmuerti: That isn't a bug. Its actually coded into the game. If it was bug, that sequence wouldn't happen the exact same every single time. I actually think its how your supposed to beat him. Its just that people figured out how to fight him without using that sequence.

A little disappointing this will be on ps3/360 but pretty exciting none the less. Far Cry 3 was a pretty fun game even with its terrible story so I'm pretty excited.

I second your sentiments about DS 2. While a great game, does feel inferior to DS 1 even though its hard to explain why. As for exclusives, the Uncharted series, Valkyria chronicles, last of us, god of war series, ratchet and clank, Heavy Rain and beyond two souls are some exclusives you can try out.

If journalists just took a company or government's official word as absolute, you'd never get the truth about anything involving them.

We do need to see more sources come forward to talk about what really happened, but at the moment, Naughty Dog's company line seems less than convincing. Not to mention, they didn't deny that she was forced out; they simply suggested that those two in particular weren't the ones that did it.

Hopefully if there is some impropriety here, a source will bravely come forward and explain it. Though, I can understand any source having serious concerns about telling the whole truth and potentially getting them fired and blacklisted.

Unfortunately, after what happened at Irrational, we've still not heard enough, and that isn't encouraging for whether we'll ever actually learn the truth here as well.

Yep, this is how I feel as well. Whoever wrote the intial piece at ign ( I think it was Mitch Dyer) needs to come out with a few more details. You don't just drop a bomb like that walk off the stage. He doesn't need to give up his sources but he could tell us more. Was it just a contract dispute that forced her to leave or was it an actual conflict between her and Druckman that made her leave? And why would she leave over one conflict? Have their been more than one? Maybe in the conflict with Druckman she went to management for support and it wasn't there so she didn't feel comfortable there and it happened again and she just said "fuck it" and resigned. Of course that was just speculation but it would be nice to know more in the vague way it was originally reported.

I will say that it doesn't make much sense for ign to run a crazy rumor like that. I think they have a pretty good relationship with Naughty Dog and the devs from Naughty Dog go on podcast beyond a lot from what I understand so it would be kind of silly to run a rumor with no real sources and possibly damage that relationship and the press release didn't really deny that there was an issue, just that it wasn't true so it could possibly be true. Regardless, it make Naughty Dog look bad if that's the way it actually went down but we might never figure that out unless some more information is given.

IGN almost certainly had more than just rumor to it, especially considering the sources were the ones that first revealed she was leaving. Then hours later it's confirmed. So, sources that were accurate in saying she was gone also said she was forced out. Considering they trusted the sources on her leaving, I imagine they also trusted them on their suggestions regarding the nature of her exit.

They are probably trying to work out what they can say without revealing the sources, and they may be trying to get those sources to say more or even come forward. I don't blame them for going with trusted sources which have so far at least been right about her leaving, and what this needs is further investigation. Patrick appears to be trying to get an interview with Hennig; so, maybe he can help get to the truth of the situation. Though, since she still wants to be hired elsewhere, she may be resistant to really say all that happened. We'll see.

Hopefully that will happen but I'm doubtful she says anything if she wants to work in the industry again. IF the nature of the departure was as ugly as it sounds, she may have gotten some sort of severance package and required not to say anything about what happened and I think the only way we actually find out anything about this is if Hennig comes out and says something which, like I said earlier, is doubtful for a number of reasons.

Just apologize and tell her you have issues you need to work out. If she doesn't understand then she probably isn't for you and you should move on.

Turns out that people don't really care about games. They just care about what resolutions the games run at. True, there hasn't been a killer app on either machine yet, but it's sad to see the things people think they care about.

The all powerful PS4 with the ability to run every game at 1080p60 was the greatest thing ever. So if it turned out that maybe it wasn't running a game at that resolution or that framerate, would that game suddenly become worse?

I can't count how times I saw people praising Killzone shadowfall for running 1080p and looking so good. All the rabid Sony fans on these forums and others. Losing their minds about how 1080p is what makes a game. How amazing that Killzone multiplayer looks.

Turns out that the multiplayer for shadowfall runs at 960x1080.

People were apparently lied to and they believed it with all their heart. That's all it takes.

So what now? Does that game suddenly look like trash?

Just for reference.

960x1080 = 1,036,800 pixels - Killzone

1408x792 = 1,115,136 pixels - Titanfall

Titanfall pushes more pixels that the Killzone multiplayer. Yeah, call the a source engine game and whatever other bullshit you want, but it proves a simple point.

People don't really care about these things. They just think they do. It lets them sleep better at night if someone tells them that their black box is better than the other guys. No one is debating that the xbox one is the weaker machine. That's fine and everyone accepts it. Killzone was said to run at 1080 native for both single and multiplayer. That turned out to be a lie.

People just need to be told what they want to hear. The average person isn't sitting around counting pixels or lines of resolution. Games can look great at 720 scaled, just like they can at 900 or 960.

You are comparing two games from to different systems. Titanfall won't be running on the ps4 and killzone won't be running on xb1 so to compare the two is just silly. In this scenario, it doesn't matter what resolution either game is running at in this particular instance but it does matter that Sony at the very least misleading about what resolution Killzone's mp will be running at (well it might in Titanfall's case since it will also be on the pc and I'd imgine it looks much better on pc than on the xb1). If you were comparing a game that ran on both systems like BF4, ghosts, AC IV, etc than that's when people care about resolutions because they want to make an informed purchase. It was that way last gen with most people picking up the 360 version of multiplats b/c they ran better so I don't see why it would be different in this generation. Right now, games just perform better on the ps4 so that's why people are making a big deal about it.

It also seems like you brought this up only say "SEE? SONY LIED MS RULES BUY AN XBOXONE NOW!!" which is pretty childish honestly. If you like the xbone one and its games, I don't see why it matters what resolution the killzone mp is running at. Just ignore it and get ready to play a ton Titanfall.
