I finished this last night and only just found out that Kate can throw herself off the roof by watching a Gamespot video. I really didn't think that was a possible outcome after I saved her. I wonder how they will handle it in future episodes because it seems like a big ask to have them devote some time from one to see Kate again, especially when the percentage when I finished was about 50/50 for that.
I liked episode 2 a lot more than the first, I didn't dislike episode 1 but it didn't click with me the way I had hoped, especially after buying the season pass. The time between episodes isn't too bad so far because thankfully I remembered my choices for the most part. I really hated the junkyard section in this, especially that hidden bonfire.
At the end I got Nathan suspended, it finally felt like Max was being listened to after earlier being told off by Jefferson and the principal for reporting the gun incident in episode 1. I don't think David is a bad guy, but he is incredibly creepy.
Overall I like a lot of the characters in this, more than I thought I would after the first episode. Chloe has grown on me and I liked how in this one more people seemed willing to talk to Max, possibly as a result of the actions in the first episode? I do wish I was given an option to let Warren down gently though, this is turning into Mass Effect 3 for me again where I felt like a dick for telling Kaiden I didn't like him that way.
At this point I'd honestly hate to guess who had the folders at the end, I'd like it to turn out that Rachael is ok just so Chloe can get her friend back or at least have some closure. I hope Kate plays some role going forward even if it's only a few text messages or e-mails so my stressing out during that section isn't for nothing, although I did like the fact that you couldn't rewind it because that feels like one of the few meaningful choices to me in the game thus far. Does anyone else think Max is going to die at the end? Either trying to save someone or just her head exploding due to using the power.
