@sammo21: I agree... I came to that realization not too long ago about Destiny (he types as he wears his E3 Destiny shirt). After watching what little footage that is out there (which essentially is the same demo the had at the Sony press conference which was the same one at the Activision theater at E3), I get too much of the Halo vibe. Sure, it always looked like Halo to me but more so with time. The same with Titanfall; they are taking a new take on Call of Duty but the core game still looks like CoD.

I'm happy both developers are taking a new approach with their shooters but I can't be as excited for these games as I once was.

I want to make a Facebook account [again] just so my icon can be "Love Ryan Davis"

I spent 50 cents on PSN avatar (Mao from Disgaea 3) and it was worth it. I would like to see Sony allow for avatar unlocks in games (I've never come across them so I'm assuming that isn't a thing). It would be a nice get, especially for people who chase trophies or pull off something challenging. At least they've updated the avatar database a bit so not everyone is a duck anymore.

@hunkulese: True; it does seem expensive but it could totally help them close the financial gap. I keep hearing that Amazon isn't actually all that profitable because they undercut on a lot of products to squeeze out other retailers. If they can sell even more than they do now and get small items to you in 30 minutes, then yeah, total game changer for online retail. I'm curious to know the cost, over a course of a year, to ship small items via drone vs. standard methods.

@monkeyking1969: REALLY? Okay, I need to screw around with my two TVs because I think I have a model newer than that one, and another, much nicer Samsung TV as well. It would suck to have it on the side HDMI port; I really hate that positioning on most TVs.

@extomar: It is a smart move for them, though; if they can invest money into drones and would, conceivably, have a lower operating cost over time than using traditional shipping methods, they can cut out the small object shipping overhead altogether. It seems like Amazon to me; they found a way to get their products directly to you, short of teleportation.

Pretty much all my life but it has changed a lot with time and experience. I think counseling helped me; group counseling in college was a trip. Being in a group of my peers who I have no reason to care about and coming to see each other as vulnerable and scared really put things in perspective.

Where do you people live that someone shooting off a gun in a town at a robot or randomly vandalizing something with a rock is a major concern for you?

I live in a really nice area in New York but there are idiots everywhere that are willing to try something or do something destructive. The amount of prostitutes and drugs deals that happen in even my quiet neck of the woods is astounding to me. If I lived in Brooklyn or one of the other 5 boroughs, I'm sure I'd be even more paranoid about theft and vandalism.

I foresee a future where Brooklyn has a lot of drones hanging on power lines.

I never considered videos a source of information; rather, a source of entertainment. I guess that is why I never used YouTube all that much until I worked for sites that had channels (or primarily functioned via video content). I mostly use Twitch for watching my friends and people I know play games on their PS4 since I'm woefully without one, but that is as far as it goes. I prefer a written review or preview over video content (I know, that is so old fashion).

Back off of texting and give her a call (also important to not call her every 5 minutes, either). Talk to her, make plans to meet up, but don't dwell on phone or text conversations. Maybe it is over, but it is sound advice for anyone. Unless you are seeing someone who compulsively texts, then you might consider meeting her at that level.
