@karrius:

what am I reading?

He didn't defend anyone. The joke itself wasn't aiming for any specific friend of his. If you want to start focusing on the worst moments in his life before his accomplishments because he offended you maybe you should look at his better once too. The one when he actually showed growth. Because trust me pretty much no one looks sympathetic at the people that was "victims" of tbs tweets. Because he's dead now and his "victims" aren't.

@karrius:

We are talking about the same guy that years later kicked out one of his fan from coxcon because he said a trans joke.

It's a fucking bummer that no one in the gb family said anything about TB's death expect Austin who wished TB spend his last moment in life apologizing. If it wasn't for tbs video on Ryan I wouldn't have been a giant bomb subscriber today.

And I get it. Just because TB was a fan of them dosen't mean that they have to be a fan of him. But I mean... he was a fan.

I never got the chance to play the old gow games because I was underage when the first games came out and I lost interest when I was old enough. I also though the game was nothing but a gore fest. But youtuber Endless Jess have brought up some interesting points about how the old games have always been more. Again this less then 20 mins of cutscene of six games and even so Endless Jess even agree that he is a bad dude. So it's easy paint up a underdog story for the old games and how bad the gaming press have portrayed them, That's why I ask does he have some points or is the common agreement that the old gow games have been nothing but a shallow character action justified?

@sethmode I deleted my message because i didn't like the tone. I wouldn't delete it if i knew people could still read and respond to it later. I mean what's the point for having a delete button?

@kiptok and I get how there's more value in a real woman taking ownership. But don't you think it's a bit narrow to think that that Bayonetta isn't capable owning her sexuality just because that choice was decided by Kamiya?

Not saying Bayonetta is the pinnacle of female portrayals in video games, but if the idea is that she looses before even starting race because of the gender of the creators, what's the point for male creators to even try?

@bongchilla: yes that's right .

@bradbrains:

Sorry I shouldn't give such a vague statement (hate it myself someone else does it) A Hat in Time devs decided to keep Jontron voice in the game. Same guy that had some questionable ideas about african americans and immigrants in general. Abby kinda made it seem like that was the reason when they talked about it shortly during goty podcast (or at least i think it was goty) she said something like how it was problematic or something like that.

Yeah, probably the same reason why A Hat in Time got its quicklook removed from the schedule.
