If by being surprised by the ending you mean sorely disappointed, then yes, they are correct.

The game was still wicked awesome, the ending was just a big let down.

You meet the big villain guy only 1 time before having to kick his ass in a rather easy bossfight. The bossfight before that was pretty decent tho...

Also great voiceacting by Death. Not on the same level as War, but still better than 9 out of 10 game performances.

In Holland, I've seen a lot of normal women at these game conventions that are just there as visitors. Admittedly, they are usually attached to a dude and not there on their own :P

The Logitech F540 has served me well. It's wireless and feels good on the ears.

As developers become more familiar with a platform, they learn how to:

1. Make it run better.

2. Know the limitations of a system and focus on what it CAN do and not on what it CAN'T do.

3. Hide ugly stuff.

Your friend should play some launch 360 games. Especially multi-platform games improve because of this, but single-platform games as well.

Just compare Uncharted 1 and 2 to eachother.

I started following the guys since the whole Kane&Lynch stuff. I was already reading their reviews, but it wasn't untill that moment that I started following the Hotspot -> Arrow Pointing Down -> Bombcast.

Right now, or actually always, gender related topics and violence are interesting to research.

That also means that it has been done to death and might not give you an easy way to be relevant.

Maybe a study of Western indie development compared to Japanese/rest of the world indie development?

A study of the impact of Steam (or similair) services on PC-gaming and the indirect impact it has on console gaming?

I've played MP3 to completion and are about half-way through Spec Ops.

I enjoyed Max Payne well enough, it's not really a Max Payne game but it's still decent.

Spec Ops, however, has some very unique stuff to it. I've made a couple of really fucked up decisions and it does things I have never seen in a modern militairy shooter.

I say: Spec Ops: The Line!

Combined with The Walking Dead: Episode 2, I think I'm good in the making-fucked-up-choices department for a while...

Pretty hyped for this!
