Can we please move beyond Ninja Gaiden? There are like 4 indie games released every year trying to remake Ninja Gaiden.

Going to miss Ben so much :( And I totally get why he's decided to reduce his public (internet) presence.

You would 100% know if you picked up a cursed item because you wouldn't be able to take it off or put it down. If that sword is magically stuck in your hand, yeah, it's cursed.

How many times is he going to die from using that polymorph wand?

Rogue was the foundation and all, but I really think Nethack is the apex of the traditional Roguelike. Others have come since, and they're good and all, but nothing beats Nethack.

Glad some of you young whippersnappers are finally going to see what Rogue is actually Like, so you might stop calling every other game with procedural generation and permadeath rabble rabble back in my day harumph harpumh old old Old old grumbling old.

Wow. Those down-but-not-out animations look like shiiiiit. That's some Colin's Bear Animation level animation.

A new restore point? Is Bradley finally broken?

I am 100% in support of new save points. Be kind to yourself, Brad. That said, I like the suggestion TheodoricFriede made below, that it should come with a formal declaration of being broken.

WOW. I hate this!

This is the polar opposite of what I want in a Yakuza game.

edit: the combat. the jrpg turned based combat is what i hate. the rest is standard fare yakuza wackiness, and is good.

It would be nice when Vinny brought up the auto-battle and flee mechanics, if Alex was able to show those off instead of just acknowledging they were there. Since as he pointed out, there seems to be so many random battles in this game, and can get tedious.

I know it's not how Alex normally plays, but for a Quick Look, and with this being not his main save, it would have been nice to see. Just my 2 cents.

Honestly? Yeah. This is a big problem I've had with a lot of the videos on this site. And I've been here since day 1. For a Quick Look, I feel like they should be doing a little more to show off the variety in the game. Like fighting games where they just replay matches with the same characters, games with class- or weapon-based combat where they stick with one class/weapon type instead of showcasing the others they have in their inventory or loot while playing, that sort of stuff.

Don't just acknowledge it's there, show us. And if they don't know how to do it, I mean, learn? Learn the very basics of the game's systems, the ones that are clearly documented in game or otherwise easily accessible*, before playing it for your job.

*I'm not demanding for World Tendency-level knowledge of secret/hidden/undocumented mechanics

Yet another formulaic open world game... can we please kill this genre/game type forever? There's nothing more to be gained from this, and I'm not only talking about Ubisoft's games.

Seems like a bad idea to equip a covert infiltration spider robot with a permanently on frontal light i dunno that's just me what do i know i'm not a super deadsec turbohacker

This game looks like any other standard open world game.. You thought Ghost of Tsushima was the last? Nope! They're just gonna keep recycling these formulas forever!
